عاد إلى القاهرة عمرو موسى، رئيس منظمة «إنتربيس» ووزير الخارجية والأمين العام الأسبق لجامعة الدول العربية، عقب مشاركته في فعاليات الدورة الثانية والستين من مؤتمر ميونيخ للأمن، التي عُقدت في مدينة ميونيخ الألمانية، حيث شارك في عدد من الجلسات والموائد المستديرة المغلقة إلى جانب نخبة من كبار المسؤولين وصناع القرار الدوليين.

وخلال المؤتمر، شارك موسى في فعالية مغلقة نظمها مركز القاهرة الدولي لتسوية النزاعات وحفظ وبناء السلام (CCCPA) بعنوان: “A Sea of Opportunities: Security and Development Across the Red Sea”، تناولت الأبعاد الأمنية والتنموية في منطقة البحر الأحمر وخليج عدن، باعتبارها أحد أهم الشرايين الاستراتيجية للتجارة العالمية والاتصال بين قارات آسيا وأفريقيا وأوروبا، في ظل التحديات الجيوسياسية المتصاعدة في المنطقة.

وفي سياق الفعاليات الجانبية للمؤتمر، شارك موسى في المائدة المستديرة المغلقة التي نظمها مركز الخليج للأبحاث بالتعاون مع مجموعة الأزمات الدولية في 13 فبراير 2026 بفندق بايريشر هوف، تحت عنوان: “مسارات السلام: تنامي دور دول الخليج في تسوية النزاعات”. والتي عُقدت بحضور عدد من كبار المسؤولين الإقليميين والدوليين، من بينهم الأمير فيصل بن فرحان وزير خارجية المملكة العربية السعودية، والدكتور رشاد العليمي رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي في اليمن، والدكتور أنور قرقاش المستشار الدبلوماسي لرئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، والأمير تركي الفيصل، إلى جانب عدد من وزراء الخارجية والمسؤولين من دول الخليج وأوروبا، حيث دار نقاش موسع حول دور الدبلوماسية الخليجية في تسوية النزاعات وإدارة الأزمات الإقليمية.

وخلال النقاش، قدّم موسى رؤية عربية حول قضايا الأمن الإقليمي، مستعرضاً أبرز التحديات والتطورات في المنطقة، ومؤكداً أهمية تبني مقاربات دبلوماسية واقعية تقوم على التوازن بين المصالح الإقليمية والدولية.

كما شارك موسى في فعالية نظمها مركز نظامي غنجوي الدولي على هامش المؤتمر، ضمن سلسلة لقاءات تناولت التحولات في النظام الدولي وأثرها على أمن الشرق الأوسط والبحر المتوسط.

وفي تصريحات صحفية على هامش المؤتمر، أكد موسى أن المنطقة تمر بمرحلة خطرة تتطلب قدراً أكبر من التنسيق العربي وتعزيز أدوات الدبلوماسية الوقائية، مشدداً على ضرورة العمل على صياغة ترتيبات أمنية إقليمية جديدة تواكب التحولات الكبرى في النظام الدولي، وتضمن الاستقرار والتنمية في الشرق الأوسط والبحر الأحمر.

وأشار إلى أن مؤتمر ميونيخ للأمن يظل أحد أهم المنصات الدولية للحوار الاستراتيجي، لما يتيحه من فرصة للتواصل المباشر بين صناع القرار والخبراء من مختلف أنحاء العالم، وتبادل الرؤى حول قضايا الأمن والسلام والتنمية.

Amre Moussa returns from Germany after participating in the Munich Security Conference and high-level meetings on regional issues

Mr. Amre Moussa, President of Interpeace and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt and Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, has returned to Cairo following his participation in the 62nd Munich Security Conference, held in Munich, Germany. During the conference, he took part in a number of sessions and closed-door roundtables alongside a distinguished group of senior international officials and decision-makers.

During the conference, Mr. Moussa participated in a closed event organised by the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding (CCCPA) entitled: “A Sea of Opportunities: Security and Development Across the Red Sea.” The discussion addressed the security and development dimensions of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, which represent one of the world’s most strategic arteries for global trade and connectivity between Asia, Africa, and Europe, amid rising geopolitical challenges in the region.

As part of the conference’s side events, Mr. Moussa also participated in a closed roundtable organised by the Gulf Research Center in cooperation with the International Crisis Group on 13 February 2026 at the Bayerischer Hof Hotel, under the title: “Paths to Peace: The Growing Role of the Gulf States in Conflict Resolution.” The meeting was attended by a number of senior regional and international officials, including Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen; Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates; and Prince Turki Al-Faisal, in addition to several foreign ministers and senior officials from Gulf and European countries. The discussion focused on the role of Gulf diplomacy in conflict resolution and the management of regional crises.

During the discussion, Mr. Moussa presented an Arab perspective on regional security issues, reviewing the main challenges and developments in the region, and stressing the importance of adopting realistic diplomatic approaches that balance regional and international interests.

Mr. Moussa also took part in an event organised by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center on the sidelines of the conference, as part of a series of discussions addressing transformations in the international system and their impact on the security of the Middle East and the Mediterranean.

In press remarks on the margins of the conference, Mr. Moussa stated that the region is going through a dangerous phase that requires greater Arab coordination and stronger preventive diplomacy tools. He emphasised the need to work towards new regional security arrangements that reflect major shifts in the international system and ensure stability and development across the Middle East and the Red Sea.

He also noted that the Munich Security Conference remains one of the most important international platforms for strategic dialogue, as it provides a valuable opportunity for direct engagement between decision-makers and experts from around the world, and for the exchange of views on issues of security, peace, and development.
